Frequently Asked Questions About SYSTAT
Q: I have just downloaded the SYSTAT Trial, and when I try to run it, I receive an error that the "license has expired." What do I do?
A: We’ve seen this issue come up a few times. It happens frequently if the computer you’re using has had a Systat product loaded on it previously, but sometimes it can happen for no apparent reason. Systat support can send you a certain specific license file to load that will fix this error and return everything to normal. Simply contact Systat online, or by phone at 877-797-8280 and ask to speak with a support representative. TOP >>
Q: When will you come out with a Mac version of SYSTAT?
A: This is one of our most frequently asked questions. The answer is that we had a version of SYSTAT being developed for the Mac early in 2009, but due to unfavorable economic conditions the project was cancelled before completion.
We hope that this development is revived sometime soon, but right now I have so say that we do not currently have a timetable for a Mac deployment. The best we can do is to point out that SYSTAT runs beautifully on Macs that can boot into Windows or that can run Windows on a virtual machine. Our director, Lee Wilkinson, personally runs SYSTAT under this type of configuration.
We wish we could give you a better answer at this point, but please stay tuned. As SYSTAT continues to grow, we will have more leeway for this type of development. TOP >>

Q: I am attempting to install SYSTAT 12, but I am receiving an error message that says, "This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact your product vendor." What is wrong?
A: You may be attempting to install the 64-bit version of SYSTAT 12. The 64-bit version will only work on computers with a 64-bit processor. If you are installing from CD, please select the “SYSTAT 12 for 32-bit Windows” option. If you downloaded the installer from the web, please go back to the download page. Make sure to press the “Download your free 30-day trial of SYSTAT (32-bit)” button. The 32-bit version will download. TOP >>
Q: I am attempting to install SYSTAT 12, but I receive an error message saying that the installation requires administrative rights. What should I do?
A: In order to install SYSTAT 12, your login needs to have administrative rights to your computer. If you do not, your IT organization may need to install the program for you. Once SYSTAT has been installed, a normal user account can run it without a problem. TOP >>
