What's New in Version 5

A What's New help item is available for highlighting the many new features in TableCurve 2D release 5. This item is available in the main Help menu of the program.

Tutorials

The tutorials for this release have been increased to eight and can be accessed directly from the Help menu. Six of these tutorials are completely new and offer valuable information in using many of the data preconditioning procedures effectively.

On-Line Help and PDF Documents

The documentation is now entirely electronic. All of the information previously in printed form, as well as a large measure of additional documentation, is available in the on-line help. There are now full color graphs that illustrate the influence of key parameters in the Non-Linear Equations. In addition to curve-fitting information, you will find a good summary of Fourier analysis, Eigendecomposition, and Autoregressive modeling.

The tutorials, the linear and non-linear equations descriptions, and the on-line reference system have been formatted as letter-size, full color Adobe Acrobat PDF electronic documents. If desired, you can print or view these reference documents using the Acrobat reader included on the distribution CD. These files are installed into the PDF subdirectory. The PDF subdirectory can be deleted if these PDF files are not of value to you.

DLL Automation Files

TableCurve 2D v5 supports DLL-based data acquisition. The C code for three sample DLLs, including the Autoacq instrumentation interface, is in the Automation subdirectory.
